Opinion Piece: Free-market approaches do not sit well with science

‍Though current generations of scientists may have low expectations that this or any government will soon reverse the nation’s underinvestment in research and development, the generations coming out of our high schools and universities are determined to insist on true change with far more energy and drive. They will have picked up from this Budget that they can’t leave their future in the hands of our current leaders
