News Posts and Events Calendar -- Changes in Feeds

TLDR: Follow @News Poster and / or @Events Poster to be notified of posts and have them appear in your feed.

I have been making many posts of news articles in the last month. Two things have become apparent. Lots of people are finding these useful (noticed from analytics and direct feedback). Others have shut off site notifications completely. The later, I suspect, is due to some combination of the frequency of notifications and the dire state of the news in the sector at the moment.

It seems to me that some minor changes will give users more granular control over their notifications and make using the site more appealing. I created an account @News Poster which I will use to post the news articles. Previously, I created the @Events Poster to make events related posts. In future, if you would like for these to appear in your email notifications / website feed, click on the links for them above and follow those accounts.

I'd love to get some feedback on these changes either directly or through comments. Thanks!
