Parliamentary Select Committee Hearing on Postgraduate Stipends

I am glad to say that thanks to Chloe Swarbrick, the New Zealand Union of Students' Associations has been given permission to provide a public statement to the Education and Workforce Committee on postgraduate stipends.

A Greens inquiry into stipend levels has put this on the agenda during the cost-of-living crisis.  On the 5th of April at 10.10am NZUSA will be presenting to the Committee on this topic at Parliament, and invite whoever is interested in supporting to come along in attendance.  

We are also looking for perspectives on postgraduate stipends in short 1-3 minute video clips to share from students with the Committee and on our social media.  If you are connected with someone who would like to provide a short video, please do send them to president@students.org.nz
