Abstract
This talk will feature a biostatistics researcher who is also an associate dean of post-graduate research, offering a unique perspective on these two topics. The speaker will discuss their experience in using statistical methods to identify patterns and trends in complex health data sets. In addition, the speaker will discuss their role as an associate dean of post-graduate research, providing support and guidance to the next generation of researchers. They will discuss the challenges of managing and balancing the needs of students and faculty, promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration, and navigating the complex funding and regulatory landscape that impacts post-graduate research.
