Kia ora, I am a research fellow at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute. My research follows three streams: 1) Prediction of the form-function musculoskeletal system in adult and paediatric population, 2) Wearable sensors for motion analysis and 3) A web-based software tool for spinal fusion surgery for improved clinical outcomes. My research focuses on the mechanics of the musculoskeletal system and gait disorders, especially in the paediatric population. I combine experimental methods, imaging and computational modelling to answer clinical questions with the overarching goal of improving early assessment for better recovery. I have expertise in statistical shape modelling, machine learning, musculoskeletal modelling and Finite Element modelling.
