In my opinion, it appears that those opposed to this initiative want a population ignorant of te Tiriti. That may benefit them, their backers, and their aims, but it does not make for a better Aotearoa New Zealand. I suspect the reason this is being called a 'Bold move' is because some very loud minority views oppose it. Frankly, this should be so run of the mill that not teaching it would be shocking.
